Every arrangement at Deja Studio comes in a vessel, or a vessel and a kenzan, and all are yours to keep.
How it works
Create a Deja Studio account — it's complimentary and takes a moment — and every vessel or vessel and kenzan you purchase is automatically part of The Keeping.
The first time you order, the price includes a one-off cost for your vessel, included in the price of the floral arrangement. That vessel is yours from then on.
Next time you order, bring the vessel back with you, or if you prefer local delivery, simply leave it out for collection on your doorstep the same day your new arrangement will arrive. Kind of like the way milk used to turn up on the doorstep, one bottle taken, one left in its place. Either way, with an account, you'll only pay for the flowers. No vessel fee, no new packaging, no starting over.
There's no time limit on The Keeping. Order again next week or next year and the vessel is still yours and the benefit still stands.
Why we do it
Walk into most op shops and you'll find a shelf of the same plain glass cylinder vases that came free with someone's flowers once, kept for a while out of guilt, then eventually let go. It's not that anyone did anything wrong. It's just what happens to packaging that was never really designed to be kept, only to be included.
What The Keeping isn't
It's not a subscription and there's no obligation to come back on any schedule. It's simply there when you're ready for the next one, only requires a customer account and costs less than starting fresh every time.
